Seledonia C. Ynocencio passed away peacefully on her 88th birthday, Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in her daughter’s home in Racine. She was born March 3, 1927 in Cotulla, TX the daughter of Alfonso and Clemencia (nee: Reyes) Cruz. Seledonia married Feliciano R. Ynocencio on June 5, 1942 in Cadillac, MI. He passed away December 15, 2000. A homemaker, Seledonia was a member of St. Richard’s parish. She was a frequent donor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, The March of Dimes, and to a number of other churches. Survivors include her 11 children; Ignacio (Elma), Reyes, and David Ynocencio, Mary Jane Servantez, Yolanda Ynocencio, Linda Garcia, Sally Helbling, Diana (Phil) Helbling, Alma, Cathy, and Athena Ynocencio. She is further survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 4 sons; Sostenes, Eugene, Feliciano, Jr., and Ismael, and 3 brothers; Domingo, Phillip, and Ignacio Cruz. The family will receive guests on Friday March 6, 2015 from 5-6:45 pm in Strouf Funeral Home. A vigil service will be held at 6:45 p.m. Further visitation will continue on Saturday March 7, 2015 in St. Richard of Chichester Catholic Church 1503 Grand Ave. from 9 to 9:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., Fr. Ron Gramza officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery on Hwy. 32.;
