Racine – Sally Mae Mathieus (nee. Gorsiski), age 89, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026, at Parkview Gardens. She was born in Racine to parents Stanley and Mable (nee. Potterville) Gorsiski on February 5, 1937.
She is survived by her children, Victoria (Randy) Vassh, Valerie Gray (Shawn Murphy), and Virgina (Scott) Mattie; grandchildren, Erik Mathieus, Brad (Carissa) Plachter, Matthew Plachter, Andrew (Morgan) St. Martin, Sarah (Dean) Polaske, and Laura (Mike) Terselic; great-grandchildren, Alana, Brianna, Ariel, Brittney, Courtney, Brooke, and Matthew Plachter, Jr.
Funeral services, followed by interment at West Lawn Memorial Park, will be held privately for the family.
