Margaret (Maggie) J. Ansel, 60, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 16, 2026. Born April 9, 1966, in New Jersey, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Ellen (NEE: Ryan) Jaskot. Maggie married Terry L. Ansel on February 25, 1995, in Denver, PA. She lived in Pennsylvania until 2019 when she and her husband moved to Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin so she could work in her dream role at ULINE as Director of Treasury.

Maggie was an avid reader and excellent cook and loved to be around a table eating, laughing, playing games and sharing stories. She gave the best hugs and loved her family and friends fiercely. She always made the time to be there for anyone in need, and her focus was always on making others’ lives easier. Gracious in every other area of her life, Maggie was a “bulldog” when it came to negotiating interest rates and fighting for the best possible deal, whether it was with international banks or at the grocery store. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, intelligence, compassion and kindness that is a blessing to strive to live up to.

Maggie will be deeply missed by her two children, Katherine (Francis) Grey and Daniel Ansel along with her brothers Joseph (Laura) Jaskot Jr., Msgr. Robert Jaskot and Kenneth (Lina) Jaskot and other relatives and friends. Maggie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Terry earlier this year. Her grief after his death is now lifted as she dances and laughs with Terry once more in Heaven.

A memorial mass to celebrate her life will be held on August 27, 2026. A visitation will take place from 10:00 AM with a memorial mass beginning at 11:00 AM at Our Mother of Perpetual Help; 320 Church Ave, Ephrata, PA 17522.
