Sara L. Ptaschinski

Sara L. Ptaschinski 36 passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, November 19, 2014 in her home. She was born December 4, 1977 in Racine the daughter of Gerald T. and Karla R (nee: Nielsen) Ptaschinski. Sara was a care giver in the home health care industry. She enjoyed spending time with her children, cooking, music, singing, and working with the elderly. Survivors include three children; Christina Ptaschinski, Jeramiah Saldana, and Arianna Freeman, her mother Karla (Dominic) Ruffalo, and her father Gerald T. Ptaschinski, a brother Travis Ptaschinski, 2 stepbrothers Alex Ruffalo, Andy (Leslie Patterson) Ruffalo, and a step sister Carrie (Mike) Borst . Sara is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Funeral services will be held Monday November 24, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in Emmaus Lutheran Church 1925 Summit Ave. Pastor Mary Janz officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive guests on Sunday in Strouf Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. and on Monday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services in the church.;
