Ronald Albert Kowalczyk, 60, passed away peacefully in the early morning on Christmas Day, Monday, December 25, 2023. Ronald was born in Milwaukee on September 5, 1963, the son of Ronald A. and Dorothy (NEE: Azevedo) Kowalczyk, Sr. Ronald grew up in Crestview (Caledonia) Racine County and moved to Ironwood, MI in 1996, residing there for 25 years before moving back to Milwaukee. He enjoyed building things from wooden figures and furniture to model cars and cooking for his family. He thought he was Sylvester Stallone and loved watching the Rocky movies. Ronald always had the weather channel on, keeping tabs on the weather and when it snowed, he could be found outside all day. He also enjoyed watching his favorite Football team, the Green Bay Packers. His two favorite holidays were Christmas and the 4th of July. Ronald will be deeply missed by his four daughters Nicole (Mike) Jarstad, Veronica (Kevin) Kowalczyk, Stephanie Kowalczyk and Brittany (RJ) Kowalczyk along with his 15 grandchildren Antonio, Sr., Keller Jr., Daniel III, Mikayla, Samantha, Aliandra, Jacob, Tyler, Veronica, Xavier, Addison, Emmett, Zylis, David and Zoey. He will also be missed by his 3 great-grandchildren, Antonio, Jr., Lay’Lanii and Na’Lonii along with his sister Dawn Kowalczyk and life-long friend and mother of his youngest daughter, Maika Gibson. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, sister Rhonda Kowalcyk, son Ronald A. Kowalczyk, III, and grandson Joseph Ryder, Jr. Funeral services for Ronald will be held in Strouf Funeral Home, 1001 High Street on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive guests in the funeral home on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
