Reba LuDean (Nee: Philbrick) Kaprelian, 88, was called home to heaven surrounded by her family, Saturday, December 9, 2017, in Aurora Medical Center, Kenosha. She was born April 14, 1929 in Mounds Il, the daughter of Vallie and Pearl (Nee: Bragg) Philbrick. Reba was united in marriage to Jack J. Kaprelian in Waukegan IL. and he passed away, February 8, 1968. A graduate of Gateway College, Reba worked as a LPN for hospitals and nursing homes. She enjoyed watching movies, reading, shopping and baseball. Her favorite football team was the Packers and her favorite player was Aaron Rogers. But her biggest passion in life were spending time with her grand, great-grand and great-great grandchildren. Reba will be deeply missed by her 4 children Terry (JoAnne) Kaprelian, Dr. Vallie Michael (Nicole) Kaprelian, Timothy J. Kaprelian and Helen (Roger) Vines along with 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Reba is also survived by nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Jack and 1 brother Phonzie Philbrick. A funeral service will be held for Reba Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 11:45 am in Strouf Funeral Home. The family will receive guests on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 in the funeral home from 10am until the time of service. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park. A special “Thank You” goes out to the staff of Manor Care of Kenosha.
