Racine – Eddie J. Vasquez, age 65, passed away on April 9, 2026, at Ascension-All Saints Hospital, with his loving wife, Lucinda, at his side. He was born on January 9, 1961, in Racine, WI to parents Victor Vasquez, Jr. and Bertha “Richie” Garibay, and was raised in Fort Worth, TX. Eddie moved back to Racine to care for his aunt.
Eddie was always a hard-working individual. For the majority of his career, he was a member of the Union, working as a Journeyman to install and finish drywall. This was something he was extremely proud of. He also worked as a mechanic when time permitted.
He will be always remembered for his caring nature, especially when it came to caring for his beloved Aunt Adeline for over 25 years. Eddie did whatever he could to help out his family and friends. This included him being the ‘Official Uber Driver’ in the family and loved helping get them to where they needed to go. Eddie was a devoted Packer fan and loved being in nature. Even though he was born and raised in Racine, he spent much time in Texas and was always ready to go back at any chance he could, to see family and friends that lived there. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Lucinda Donner; brother, Robert Orta; sisters, Susie and Sylvia Vasquez, Cindy Puente; aunt, Adeline Garibay; stepchildren, Brittanny and Justin, many other relatives, family and friends.
Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Victor Vasquez, Jr.; brothers, Jesse Vasquez and Victor Vasquez III; nephew, Ruben Lopez; step-son, Marty Davis.
Private services and burial with his brother, Victor, will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
