Alexander “Alex” Joseph Stanosevic, 18, of Racine, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026, after a courageous battle with leukemia, surrounded by the love of his family.

Alex was a beloved son, brother, grandson, boyfriend, and friend. He was known for his smile that could light up any room, his quick wit and dry sense of humor, and his remarkable ability to remain positive through life’s greatest challenges. Above all, Alex will be remembered for his kind heart, strength, and the love he shared so freely with others.

Alex had a passion for LEGO, Star Wars, video games, and traveling. He was always eager to try new foods and especially enjoyed anything spicy. Some of his happiest moments were spent making memories with his girlfriend, Bella, and enjoying time with those he loved most.

Though his time with us was far too short, Alex touched countless lives with his warmth, courage, and unwavering spirit. He brought light and laughter wherever he went, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Alex is survived by his loving parents, Marko and Heather Stanosevic; his brother, Nickolas Stanosevic (Grace Higginbottom); his grandparents, Rick and Linda Maroda, and Zivka Stanosevic; extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

A celebration of Alex’s life will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Strouf Funeral Home, 1001 High Street, Racine, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a short service at 1:00 p.m. A prayer service and burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at West Lawn Memorial Park, 9000 Washington Avenue, Racine, Wisconsin.
