Raquel Gonzalez

Raquel Gonzalez 72 passed away Wednesday morning January 22, 2014 in the United Healthcare Downtown Campus in Kenosha. She was born June 23, 1941 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico the daughter of Lorenzo and Herminia (nee: Cuevas) Gonzalez. Raquel was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and flowers, playing bingo, and crafting, including doll making and embroidery. Survivors include her children; Tomas (Carmen Torres) Aleman, Peter (Betsy) Aleman, Madeline (Daniel) Galarza, Herminia (Elius) Crespo, and Daniel Hernandez, grandchildren; Noel, Jessica, Peter, and Joel Cordova, Desiree, Andrea, Melissa, Peter and Daniel Aleman, Daniel Jr., and Selena Galarza, Elius Jr., Genesis, Destiny and Madeline Crespo, great grandchildren; Hunter, Summer, Jaileen, Fisher, Skylar, Delesty, and Jordeniel, her daughter-in-law Anita Cordova, 3 sisters and 5 brothers. Raquel is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tomas Aleman Sr. and son Noel Cordova. Funeral Services will be Monday January 27, 2014 at 6:30 p.m.in Strouf Funeral Home, Rev. Wilson Deaton officiating. Guests will be received on Monday from 5:30 p.m. until the time of services in the funeral home.;
