Patricia was born May 13,1951 in Etta, MS to I.O. AND Loudie (NEE: IVY) Pegues. She transitioned from this life August 30, 2021 in Kenosha WI, at Aurora Medical Center.
Patricia (Tish Ann) as she was so lovingly called, grew up in the Etta community. She gave her life to Jesus at an early age at Union Hill M.B. Church. She enjoyed cooking sewing and going to church. She graduated from Central High School class of 1969 In Oxford MS.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother I.O. and Loudie PEGUES, A.W. (Etta)PEGUES, one brother Edward PEGUES, four sisters Earnestine Price, Bernice (John) Flora, Dorothy Donaldson, and Melissie Smith. Also proceeds her in death is two brother-in-laws James Jennings,Charlie Smith jr. and Herman Price.
To cherish her memories she leaves her two daughters Kimberly PEGUES and Shanna Evans, Racine WI. Two granddaughters Maaliyah West and Ivy PEGUES. Three great grandkids Ava West, Alayah West- Jackson and Messiah West. She also leaves two brothers Thomas (Velma) PEGUES, Racine WI. Bobbie Goolsby, Oxford MS. Mamie Jennings, Racine WI. John Ellis, San Diego CA. She had four special friends Brenda Redmond, Iris Claybrook, Pensacola Singleton, and Mary Smith. She leaves two brother-in-laws, Willie Goolsby, Ray Donaldson.
She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral Services for Patricia will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at New Omega Baptist Church (5731 Northwestern Avenue) at 12 p.m. The family will receive guests on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 11 a.m. until time of service. Reverend Richmond Sr., will be officiating services. Interment to follow at Graceland Cemetery (3547 Osborne Boulevard).
Aunt “Tishann” it’s so hard to accept that you are gone but, I knew you were getting tired. You were always there when I needed you…Thank you! Kim, Shanna, and kids hold on to God’s hand. He will help you through. To my family, we all loved her but, God loved her best. She’s in the greatest place to be and we all know she was welcomed in with opened arms!!!!!!!
To The Pegus Family I met Pat at Greater Saint Luke’s Baptist Church, she was a very sweet lady, you have My Heart felt condolences.

Kim, Shanna and the Pegues family,
I was saddened to hear of Tish Ann’s passing. My heart is heavy. She was a beautiful person both inside and out. She is someone I will never forget. Trust and believe only God can guide you through this difficult time. I can not make the service but, I will be with you in thought. May God bless you now and always.
Pat and I go way back she stayed up the street from me and I would sit on the porch talk then she join Greater St Luke’s where her was Pat take your rest
