Minnie Lee Marshall

Minnie Lee Marshall 66 passed away Monday January 26, 2015 in Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center. She was born January 22, 1949 in Racine the daughter of David P. and Amanda (nee: Arthur) Marshall. Minnie was a chef at a number of area restaurants over the years. She was a member of the New Omega Missionary Baptist Church in Racine. She is survived and will be missed by her son Ervin Marshall, grandchildren; Dwayne, Brittany, Lateisha, Tierra, and Ashante, great grandchildren; Zamarion, McKennzie, Jamarion, Sydney, Alijah, Chloe, James, Jayden, Jaycion, and Haley, her brother Jimmie (Joyce) Powell, her sister Mayme Marshall, and a daughter-in-law LaVon. Minnie is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends, her special friend Gary, and 3 very close friends Art, Debbie, Mike, and her loving care giver of 7 years, Veronica. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Daniel and Fair. A Love and Peace gathering will be held on Saturday February 7, 2015 at 11 a.m. in The New Omega Missionary Baptist Church 5731 Northwestern Ave. Racine, Pastor Fred L. Richmond Sr. officiating. The family will receive guests on Saturday in the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Graveside Services will be Monday February 9, 2015 at 10 a.m. in Graceland Cemetery.
