Mariagnes E. Mayer

Mariagnes E. Mayer 79 of Sturtevant, passed away on Saturday afternoon November 29, 2014 in the Hospice Alliance Racine Hospice House. She was born December 18, 1934 in Racine the daughter of Holger and Rosella Piper. Mariagnes married David G. Mayer on October 3, 1953. He passed away November 28, 1998. A homemaker, she was a member of the Union Grove Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She also enjoyed travel, reading, gardening and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mariagnes is survived by her sons; Daniel (Tina) Mayer, James (Debra) Mayer, and Todd Mayer, 6 grandchildren; April (Aaron) Ringmeier, Jason Mayer, Jennifer (Michael) Altom, Tammy (Bill) Long, Tricia Mayer, and Alyssa Mayer, and 8 great grandchildren; Micah, Kayden, Hanna, Phillip, Bobby, Kurtis, Nicole, and Adele. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband David. A Memorial Service for Mariagnes will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Union Grove Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 14509 Braun Rd. in Sturtevant.;
