Maria Nuno Ramirez

Maria Nuno Ramirez 86 of Racine, passed away on Wednesday January 1, 2014 in her home. She was born October 17, 1927 in Santa Fe, Jalisco, Mexico the daughter of Nicanor and Felicitas ( nee: Ramirez) Nuno. She married Miguel Garcia November 23, 1952 in Santa Fe, Jalisco, Mexico. He passed away February 25, 2006. A homemaker Maria was a member of St. Patrick’s Parish and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and knitting. Maria is survived by her children Jesus (Arlene) Garcia, Juan Francisco (Senorina) Garcia, Maria Cecelia (Miguel) Maldonado, Javier (Amelia) Garcia, Ofelia (Angel) Nuno, Maria Isabel Garcia, Angelina (Gabriel) Garcia, Maria Guadalupe Garcia, Rosalina (Juan) Faz, and Manuel (Judith) Garcia, 26 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Miguel, son Madeleno, and 4 brothers and sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday January 4, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Patrick Catholic Church 1100 Erie St. Fr. Pablo Cirjudea officiating. Burial will following in Holy Cross Cemetery on Hwy. 32. The family will receive guests in church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass.;
