Maria Enedina Martinez, 89, of Racine, passed away on Monday, July 15th, 2019 at Ascension All Saints Hospital. She was born on May 14, 1930 in Mexico. Born the daughter of Leopoldo Martinez and Micaela Hernandez. She married the late Taurino Ayala. Enedina loved to knit, she was a big fan of dolls, and enjoyed cooking homemade tortillas and cheese. Most of all she cherished the time she spent with her family, and loved being around them. She will be missed deeply by her children Guadalupe, Engracia, Adolfo, Carmelo, Petra, and Celia, as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Enedina is preceded in death by her husband, parents, siblings, and sons Mario, Antonio, and Humberto. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 12 p.m. at Strouf Funeral Home. The family will receive guests on Friday, July 19, 2019 from 10 a.m. at the funeral home until the time of service. Interment to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
