Linda Marie Willis, 69, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 in Ascension All Saints Hospital. She was born January, 5, 1948 in Racine, the daughter of Theodore and Sophie (NEE: Mauter) Murray. Linda married Harold Willis on September 12, 1984 in Racine. He passed away June 11, 2005. A housekeeper for hospitals, Linda loved to crochet, play Bingo and bake. But her favorite pastime was spending time with her granddaughter. She will be deeply missed by her 2 children Clyde Diedrick, Roberta Willis, along with 1 grand-daughter Elexys Willis. She will be also missed by her sister Judith Cokenower and 2 brothers James (Sharon) Murray and Marvin (Vanessa) Murray along with her mother Sophie Cokenower. Linda will also be missed by 5 step-children, Kim, David, Randy, Danielle and Christopher. She is also survived by many nieces, nephew’s other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, father Theodore, 1 brother Martin, 1 sister Catherine, 1 grandson Shawn and 2 step-children, James and Karen. The family would like to invite Linda’s family and friends to say goodbye and share a story or two on Friday in Strouf Funeral Home between the hours of 3-5 pm. Burial will be private for the family per Linda’s wishes.
To the family of Linda. I did not know her that long but what I did know we got to be good friends. I am sad that I never got to talk to her or visit her afgter she left Ridgewood but I got out the 28th and she was already gone.
