Lillian(Nee: Jedinak) Barth, 92, of Racine, Wi, passed away on Wednesday, January 4,2023. The daughter of the late Stephan and Anna Jedinak. Wife of the late Raphael James Barth Sr.. Lillian spent many years of her life staying home raising the 3 kids while husband Ray worked. She loved to cook homemade meals and baked bread, pies, and cookies…always from scratch, never from a box. She drove her kids crazy with her immaculate housekeeping to the point of wearing shoes in the house was an absolute NO/NEVER!!!! Lil (as she preferred to be called) loved to plant flowers in the springtime; petunias being her favorite. She loved to wear shorts as much as possible, showing off her beautiful legs, and she loved the sun…getting tan was a priority. She was a fashion diva, dressing “to the nines” whenever she could and she carried that style to the end. Lil was an excellent bowler for many years, being on a ‘Women’s Only’ League as well as mixed leagues with Dad; always out-bowling him. Another favorite was weekend card games w/ their friends (yes, poker) and a marble board game called Aggregation…. After the kids were old enough, Lil began working at a local pizza parlor called Shakey’s…she was a hardworking, loyal, prompt employee who was underpaid and many times underappreciated but never ceased to keep going, with her usual cheeriness and warm welcomes to customers who loved her until the end of her employment. Most of all, Lil LOVED to dance. She and Ray would light up the dance floor with their perfect polka moves, and even when Ray could no longer join her, she would always find a partner to get out on the floor. She prided herself as the Dancing Queen and she carried that title through to the end, her last dance was on Solstice this year showing everyone she still could. There is no doubt she brought a smile to everyone whether she was dancing or not; she had a silly sense of humor (Silly Lilly) and tried her best to be positive even as her memory continued to decline. She was a lot of strength, fearlessness, and pride packed into her little “Four feet-eleven and a half” frame…a true Mama Bear to her kids and grandson. Lil was loved by so many people, even strangers she met along the way, but one thing for sure, she was undeniably loved by her Grandson Brandon, and of course, unconditionally loved by her kids. Lillian is survived by her son Raphael J. (Allison)Barth Jr, daughter Rachel(Edward Sessions) Barth, and one grandson Brandon. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Raphael, daughter Renee Barth, twin brother Edward and older brother Jay. Funeral services will be held for Lillian on Friday January 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in Strouf Funeral Home. The family will receive guests in the funeral home on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. until the start of service. Burial to follow at the Southern Wisconsin Vets Cemetery in Union Grove, WI. We will miss her beyond words….
