LaVerne B. Cole

LaVerne B. Cole 91, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday November 7, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lena B. (Nee: Nichols) Cole, his children, Brenda S. Williams, Michael W. (Marsha) Warren, Patricia L. (Brian) Edwards, nine grandchildren, Tammy (Bill) Tomon, Anthony (Ann-Marie) Vines, Carolyn (Michael) Ellinger, Robert Fiegel III, John Fiegel, Elena M. (Charlie) Cole, Tiffany M. Warren, Matthew (Cathleen) Warren and Vernon Rhys (Belinda) Cole, 11 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, sisters and brothers in law, and other family. Verne was preceded in death by daughters, brothers, parents and others. Verne will be sadly missed. The family would like to offer a special thank you to Elena M. Cole, Billy and Jimmy Schaefer, and neighbors; Nicole Ramirez, Courtney Barry, the ladies of Vitas Hospice; Robin, Katrina, Peg, Teresa, and Sandra Chapman of the Veteran’s Administration for their assistance and care of Verne at home. In lieu of flowers Mrs. Cole asks that donations be made in Verne’s name to the Southern Wisconsin Alzheimers Association. Funeral Services with full military honors will be held Friday November 21, 2014 at 11 am in the chapel of the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, followed by inurnment.;
