Larry Wayne Thomas, 62, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Ascension All Saints Hospital. Larry was born on November 9, 1955 in Birmingham, Alabama to Calvin and Elouise (nee: Bentley) Thomas. On July 5, 1980 he married Susan Sallberg in Racine. A fork lift driver for Intertractor, Larry enjoyed watching NASCAR Racing and was a big Dale Earnhardt fan, as well as working in his yard. He had special date nights with Sue at Potawatomi and also enjoyed going to the Wisconsin Dells and Superior. He especially loved spending time with his granddaughter Ecko Davis. Larry is survived by his wife Susan, 2 children, Shannon Davis/Tyler Kauzlarich and Brandon Thomas, 1 granddaughter Ecko Davis, 2 brothers, William (Charlene) Thomas, Bobby (Karen) Thomas and 1 sister Teresa Behling, along with other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded by his birth father Calvin Thomas, parents Vernist and Eloise Blake, 1 brother David Thomas, nephew Ricky Behling and son-in-law Andrew Davis. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11:30 in Strouf Funeral Home. The family will receive guests on Saturday, January 6, 2018 in the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be private for the family. .

I am so very sorry to hear that Larry has pasted. I worked with Larry at Intertractor for many years and missed him after he retired. Larry was a wonderful person. He always had a smile on his face and was a joy to work with. My sincere sympathy to the family and especially to Sue.
