Jose Cantu III

Jose Cantu III 35 passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning September 18, 2013 in Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center. He was born born June 5, 1978 in Racine the son of Jose and Linda E. (nee: Nava) Cantu II. Jose married the love of his life Melissa Cruz on February 14, 2012 in Racine. He was an assistant warehouse manager of Big Lots, and a member of Cristo Rey Parish. He enjoyed to D.J., work on cars, especially at his dad’s shop, Pepi’s Auto. Jose also enjoyed working church fiestas and had just joined a bowling league. Survivors include his loving wife Melissa, 3 children Joseph A., Natalia M., and Vanessa M. Cantu, his parents Jose and Linda Cantu II, 2 sisters Rose Linda (Roberto) Montano, and Nancy Marie (Eddie) Zelaya, grandparents; Jose and Maria Cantu, Evelia Nava, and Santiago Rodriguez, his mother and father in-law; Enrique Z. and Emma Cruz Jr., and 2 brothers-in-law; Enrique A. Cruz, and Adam Cruz. Jose is further survived by nieces other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Nicolasa Rodriguez. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday September 23, 2013 at 12 noon in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1100 Erie St., Fr. Antony Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends in St. Patrick’s Church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass.;
