Dwight G. Haskins

Dwight G. Haskins 88 passed away Friday morning November 1, 2013 in his home after a long illness. He was born December 25, 1924 in Madison, Wisconsin the son of Wesley and Dorothy Haskins. He married Genola Linker on August 5, 1957 in Racine. She passed away October 20, 2008. Dwight was a veteran of WWII and was employed for many years with Racine Steel. Survivors include his children; Patty ( Fidelmar) Hererra, Gilbert (Jen), Bobby, Benny, and Richard Haskins, Brandy Millard, and Cleta Shelton. He is also survived by 42 grandchildren, and 42 great grandchildren other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Genola, sons Mitchell, Wesley, Cletus, and Louis, and daughters Polly, Linda, and Debbra. The family will gather on Wednesday November 6, 2013 in Strouf Funeral Home to say goodbye to Dwight from 10-10:30 a.m. Graveside services with full military honors will be Wednesday 10:45 a.m in Graceland Cemetery.;
