Duane L. Britson Jr., 62, of Racine, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019. He was born on December 9, 1956 in Racine, Wisconsin,  the son of Duane and Doris Britson Sr. He married Susan Laycock on February 17, 1979 in Racine, Wisconsin. Duane worked at Thermal Transfer Products and served in the 49^th branch of the United States Army. Duane was a huge Green Bay Packer fan, he loved to watch football. Duane was a jokester and enjoyed drinking his Pabst Blue Ribbon. He was strong headed and was always right. He was dependable and always there for his children. Duane will be deeply missed by his wife Susan of forty years and children Shane, Trinity, Jamie, and Ashley. He will be dearly missed by his 15 grandchildren and sisters Mary Friedel, Diane Zimmerman, and Jeanie Britson, and brother Ray Britson. Duane will be missed by his mother Doris, and close friends Brian and Jackie. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Duane is preceded in death by his father Duane, and grandmother Mary. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Strouf Funeral Home at 1 p.m. The family will receive guests on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until the time of service. Interment to follow at Graceland Cemetery. Military Honors will be presented.
