Christine Marie Dahlwood

Christine Marie Dahlwood 83 passed away Sunday November 18, 2012 in the comfort of her home near Delavan after a short illness. A former Racine resident, Christine was born February 23, 1929 in Midland, Texas the daughter of Charlie and Anastasia (nee Bellman) Carter. She was married to Parker Dahlwood on March 17, 1950 in Midland. Christine worked as a waitress for many years and also as a homemaker raising their 3 children. She enjoyed reading, movies, and family time whenever everyone was able to get together. Survivors include her husband Parker, three children; Jed (Alice) Dahlwood, Marie (David) Jones, and Ned (Patricia) Dahlwood, 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a brother Robert Dahlwood. Services for the family and a few friends were held at the funeral home by Rev. Darnell Whittman, a family friend. Private burial followed the service.;
