Carol Kapellusch, 81, of Racine, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Ascension All Saints Hospital. She was born on April 25, 1939 in Escanaba, Michigan, the daughter of Benjamin and Lucille (NEE: Deno) Doran. Carol married the late James Frank Kapellusch on April 27, 1957 in Waukegan, Illinois. Carol was a best friend to everyone, she rooted for the underdogs, and she was stubborn. More than anything she cherished her cats, her children, and her grandchildren. Carol will be deeply missed by her children James F. Kapellusch II, Randel Lee (Patti) Kapellusch, Kevin B. (Karen) Kapellusch, Stephanie J. Rodriguez, and Melanie J. Kapellusch. She will be dearly missed by her sisters Rita Brand and Betty Petonquot, and brother Ronald Doran, as well as 13 grandchildren. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Carol is preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Lucille Doran, husband James Kapellusch, son-in-law Jose Rodriguez, and grandson Jacob Kapellusch.
