Beverly E. Pastorek

Beverly E. Pastorek 89 passed away Sunday May 25, 2014 in Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center. She was born July 14, 1924 in Racine, the daughter of Rauland and Edna (nee: Sorensen) DeMint. Beverly married Joseph Pastorek on September 30, 1944 in Racine. He passed away December 26, 2013. A homemaker, Beverly also worked for Fanny Farmer Candies as a manager for over 15 years. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Beverly devoted her life to her family. Survivors include her daughters Karen (Robert) Stigler and Debbie Stefani, 3 grandsons, 5 great grandchildren and a brother Rauland DeMint. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Dorothy Keykal and a brother James DeMint. Committal services for both Beverly and Joseph will be held Monday June 9, 2014 at 12 p.m. in the chapel of the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, in the Town of Dover, with Military Honors for Joseph. There will be no visitation. The family suggests memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
