Barbara G. Yust

Barbara G. Yust 77 passed away Friday morning, August 8, 2014 in her home after an extended illness. She was born April 3, 1937 in Racine, the daughter of Edward and Violet (nee: Anderson) Smith. Barbara married George J. Yust Sr. on December 17, 1955 in Racine. She was employed with S.C. Johnson retiring in 1994. Barbara was an active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband George Sr., and was the most loved mother of George (Cheri) Yust III, Michael Yust, Barbara (Rick) Stich, Carol Kampendahl, and Susan (Carl) Bauer, 13 grandchildren; George IV, Marie, Tina, Seth, Christine, Lisa, Joseph, Tiffany, Karl II, Kristian, Jennifer, Carole, and Angelia. Barbara is further survived by 9 great grandchildren, a brother Michael (Cheryl) Smith, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday August 12, 2014 at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church 1525 Erie St., Fr. Steve Vargas officiating. The family will receive guests in Church of Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Joseph’s Church in Barbara’s memory. ;
