Andreja Stanosevic

Andreja Stanosevic 75 passed away unexpectedly on Monday afternoon July 29, 2013 in his home. He was born July 11, 1938 in Junkovac, Serbia the son of Zivadin and Milica (nee: Milovancevic) Stanosevic. He married Zivka Vojnovic on November 26, 1961 in Racine. Andreja was employed with Racine Steel for 30 years as a Carpenter. He was a devoted member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church. Andreja used his carpentry skills to support the needs of his friends and his church community. He was very proud of his beautiful gardens that he tended in his yard. He also enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandsons. Survivors include his loving wife Zivka, his sons Meko, and Marko (Heather) Stanosevic, and his grandsons Nickolas and Alexander. Andreja is further survived by other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Danica, and a nephew Mirko. A prayer service will begin on Saturday August 3, 2013 at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by a procession to St. George Serbian Orthodox Church 826 State St. for Services at 10 a.m., Fr. Dragan Mitrovic officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park in Oak Creek. The family will receive guests in Strouf Funeral Home on Friday from 6-8 pm with Mali Pomen at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. George Serbian Orthodox Church would be appreciated.;
