Schinika Jean Duckworth Koller was born on August 6, 1980. Schinika has a warm smile, tender heart and out-going personality.

Schinika was kind person, with unimaginable strength. While diagnosed with cancer, Schinika wouldn’t let the disease change the way she viewed life. While she struggled with deliberating treatment, she always kept a warm smile and pleasant out-look.

Schinika fell asleep in death at her home on April 18, 2019, in the loving arms of her special friend, Derwin Taylor. Schinika leaves to cherish her memory her Children: Kalaya Williams, Kierra Williams, and son: Cordavion Jackson. Mother: Cederia Sanders. Grandmother: Mary Jean Gibson-Vogl, Sisters: Renee Goree, Tori Hale, Brothers: Johnny Duckworth, Mark Duckworth. Aunt: Kim Moore, Uncle: Kendall Gibson.

Schinika was preceded in death by her Father: John Duckworth, Grandfathers: Jim Sanders and Kenneth Gibson, Uncle: Kevin Gibson, Charles Sanders, and Aunt: Gary Ann Foster, Great Aunts: Katherine Foster, Margaret Gibson, Mae Gibson, Great Uncle: Gary Gibson, Jesse Causey, and Great Great Uncle: Otisteen “Otis” Jones.

The family would like to thank everyone for their warm words of sympathy.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Strouf Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Elder Mark Franklin is officiating. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 12:30 until the time of service.
