Ronald L. Krekling

Ronald L.Krekling, 55 of Racine passed away Tuesday August 12, 2014 after a brave battle with cancer. He was born March 23, 1959, the son of Robert and Beverly (nee:Amburt ) Krekling. Ronald worked as a Forklift Operator for InSinkErator for many years. One of his favorite things was working crossword puzzles. Ronald was a rock star who loved to jam with one of his favorite groups Gun’s N Roses while they were on tour in Germany and France. He loved having a good cup of coffee with his good friend Eddie Van Halen while he stayed at his house in California, and also enjoyed having Margarita’s in Margaritaville with Jimmy Buffet. Ronald also had an acting stint and had roles in The Six Million Dollar Man, The Incredible Hulk, Knight Rider and Baywatch. Although it was never accredited by NASA Ronald was the first man to ever drink a beer on Jupiter. but most importantly HE WAS NEVER AT SHOPKO. Survivors include his 2 children Free Krekling, Stardust (Lucas) Coombs, 4 grandchildren Cyrus, Azalea, Divina, and Asia, and nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Ronald also leaves behind his best fried Dale Perkel. He was predeceased by his parents, and his step-father Hank. Services will be held Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 5 p.m. in Strouf Funeral Home the Reverend Phineas Marr officiating. The family will receive guests from 4 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be private.;
