Noemi G. Ortiz, (Memi) age 56, passed away Monday October 14, 2024 at Ascension All Saints in Racine. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, February 9,1968, the daughter of James and Juanita (Nee: Gutierrez) Ortiz. Noemi was known to be the life of the party; she loved to dance and be the center of attention. She had a contagious laugh that all her family adored. Noemi was a very outgoing and friendly person, who was known to be very independent until her health declined. She loved to take walks and shop, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her parents; James and Juanita Ortiz, her five children, Nastassia, Salita, Desteni, Adalina, and Santiago Ortiz-Ruvalcaba. She will also be missed by her fourteen grandchildren, Jesse H., Iszeck V., Estreya M., Rodrigo N., Santiago J., Aubriella J., Izaleya R., Joaquin R., Esteban D., Milani R., Armani D., Amari D., Crisanto A., and Ignacio, her three siblings; Thisbe Ortiz, Byron Ortiz and Ilka Ortiz, as well as nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear close friends. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Antonio and Amparo Gutierrez and two uncles, Joe and Armando Ortiz. Services will be held for Noemi on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 11 :00 A.M. in Strouf Funeral Home in Racine. The family will receive guests in the funeral home on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 10:00 A.M until the start of services. A luncheon to honor the life of Noemi will be held at La Esquina Catina located at 2005 Taylor Ave. in Racine beginning at 3:00 P.M.
