Nicolasa Z. Rodriguez 77 passed away Sunday evening March 31, 2013 in Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center. She was born June 2, 1935 in Uvalde, TX the daughter of Jose and Filomena Zamora. Nicolasa married Santiago M. Rodriguez in May of 1952 in Racine. A homemaker, she was a member of Cristo Rey Parish, and loved cooking, gardening, music and dancing and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Nicolasa was a hard working, kind and loving woman who will be sadly and deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. Survivors include her loving husband Santiago, children; David (Sylvia) Rodriguez, Emma (Enrique) Cruz, Daniel (Rosemary) Rodriguez, Roy (Daphne) Rodriguez, and Annette (Luis Maldonado) Rodriguez, 17 grandchildren plus Jacqueline, Selena, and Lilyanna who lived with Grandma and Grandpa their whole lives, 26 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. She is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, sons Santiago Z. and Victor Rodriguez, a daughter Mary Alice Gonzalez, and 12 brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday April 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick Catholic Church 1100 Erie St., Fr. Antony Thomas officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive guests on Wednesday in Strouf Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. and in church on Thursday from 10 am until time of the Mass. The family wishes to thank Wheaton Franciscan Hospital, and Hospice, and Froedtert Hospital for their loving care of Nicolasa in her final days.;
