Linda Marie Lackey, 63, of Racine, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021, at Ascension All Saints Hospital. She was born on February 12, 1958. The daughter of Kenneth and Jean (Nee: Jacobsen) Plonsky. She married Joseph Lackey on October 28, 1978, in Racine Wisconsin. Linda worked at MTI Steel Machinery as a machinist for many years. Linda liked to go fishing, bowling, and crocheting. She enjoyed shopping, especially exploring estate and rummage sales. Linda was an avid Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewers fan. More than anything, she loved being a grandma. She was caring and always tried her best to put a smile on others and put others first before herself. Linda will be deeply missed by her husband Joseph of 43 years, and children Joseph (Lorinda) Lackey Jr., Kyle Lackey, and Amanda Lackey. She will be dearly missed by eight grandchildren Joseph III, Justin, Tyler, Thomas, Breanna, Cody, Aleah, and Avery, as well as one great-grandson Emmet. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Linda is preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Jean, sister Sharon Maldonado, and brother Jeff Plonsky.
