Kenneth J. Sustachek, 82, passed away on March 13, 2018 in Lancaster, CA. He was born in Racine on October 6, 1935, the son of Richard F. and Abbie (Nee: Heinisch) Sustachek. He married Helen Frances Schiff. Kenneth graduated from Marquette University with a BS in Electrical Engineering and a MS USC in Systems Management. He served in the U.S. Army and was discharged in September, 1966. Kenneth worked in designing aircraft for McDonald Douglas, Boeing, and a nuclear ship, the Gerald R. Ford Aircraft Carrier. He also held various positions with the U.S. Government. Kenneth will be deeply missed by his wife, Helen, of Lancaster, CA., his son Philip and one sister Dolores Sorensen, along with other nieces, nephews and friends. A Graveside Service and Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at11:00 a.m. at Country Haven Cemetery, 5 Mile Road, Racine.

I fondly remember Ken from St. Catherine’s High School, Class of 1953.
