Karen Rae Poulsen, 75, of Menomonee Falls, formally of Racine, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 at Dickson Hollow Independent Living. She was born on December 10, 1944, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy Ottosen. Karen married the late Thomas W. Poulsen on October 9, 1965 in Racine, Wisconsin. Karen loved to spend her time volunteering, knitting, and reading. She enjoyed looking at antique cars and was a huge fan of car racing. Her favorite sports team was the Green Bay Packer’s. More than anything she cherished her family and the time they spent together. Karen will be deeply missed by her sons Brian (Courtney) Poulsen and Kevin (Nora McMahon) Poulsen. She will be dearly missed by grandson Wyatt, brothers Jerry and Glenn, and close uncle Ronald. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Karen is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Dorothy, and husband Thomas. Burial will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Graceland Cemetery at 3 p.m. Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. with Deacon Steve Kramer officiating.
