JOSEPH L. DOLEZALEK 81 passed away Thursday morning June 27, 2013 in Clairidge House in Kenosha under the comforting care of Hospice. He was born July 1, 1931 in Racine the son of Joseph and Mary (nee Pavilchek) Dolezalek. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Gaulke on May 9, 1953 in Racine. Joe worked as a truck driver for Pishney Excavating, Hillside Sand Co., Dykstra Excavating, Madsen Construction, and Svenson Brothers. He was the owner of Anchor Bay Resort in Hayward, WI from 1971-77, and Joe’s Pure Oil gas station and garage in the mid 50’s. Joe then worked for Massey-Ferguson from 1979-81, and retired after driving for Tews Cement Co. in 1986. Survivors include his wife Dorothy, 4 daughters; Sandy Ludwigson, Brenda (Steve) Gaspar, Toni (Phil) Kavanagh, and Mindy (Ed) Zinthefer, 6 grandchildren; James Worachek,Trevor Baker, Jolynn, Sammi, Andrew, and Luke Zinthefer, and two nieces; Susan (Jim) Larsen, and Mary Tumidajewicz and their families. Joe is further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Joseph R., a granddaughter Bobbi Jo Baker, sisters and their husbands; Mary (Bill) Nowland, and Lillian (Ted) Morgensen, and a brother-in-law Robert Gaulke. Funeral Services will be Monday, July 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Strouf Funeral Home, Sr. Karen Vollmer, O.P. officiating. Private inurnment will be in Graceland Cemetery. The family will receive guests on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until time of services in the funeral home.’),
