Jody A. Taylor, 96, of Mequon, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 at home. He was born on October 16, 1922 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Joseph and Mary (NEE: Rauteneberg) Taylor. Jody married Ruth, and they have been together for 68 years. He worked as an industrial window cleaner and owned his own business. He enjoyed fishing excursions, especially in Canada. He liked to travel and loved his work. Jody will be missed by his wife Ruth, and 5 children. He will also be missed by 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, as well as 1 brother-in-law. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church (1616 West Mequon Rd) at 12 p.m. The family will receive guests on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery.
