Jesus Hernandez Baca

RACINE Jesus Hernandez Baca 86 passed away Saturday morning September 15, 2012 in Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center. He was born June 10, 1926 in Big Springs, TX the son of Susano and Anita (nee: Hernandez) Baca. Jesus was united in marriage to Andrea (nee: Chacon) on December 13, 1947 in Loveland, TX. He was employed with J.I. Case retiring in 1986. Jesus served his Country in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. He enjoyed fishing, old cowboy movies, John Wayne, Spending time with his family, and going to church. Survivors include his children; Adelita Hernandez, Gloria (Jesus) Garcia, and Steve (Soleda) Baca,18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren along with many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons Albert and Jesus, Jr., 5 brothers, and 4 sisters, Funeral Services will be Thursday September 20, 2012 at 10 a.m. in Strouf Funeral Home, Pastor Teresa Sautelle officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 5-7 pm in the funeral home. The family wishes to thank the ICU nursing staff at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints for their special care of Jesus during his final days.;
