Daniel R. Chacon 55 passed away Saturday morning July 4, 2015 in his home after a long battle with cancer. He was born February 2, 1960 in Racine the son of Milton and Maria (nee: Rodriguez) Chacon. Dan had been a machinist with Chrysler Motors, and enjoyed biking, walking, cooking and the Green Bay Packers. Survivors include his daughters Jamie Lynn and Jessica Lee Chacon, his mother Maria Chacon, 6 brothers; Joe (Orchid) Rodriguez, Roy (Mary) Chacon, Ted (Laura) Chacon, Joe Chacon Sr., Milton Chacon Jr., and David (Mary) Chacon, and a sister Olga (Gerardo) Aquino. Dan is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends, especially Pastor Kevin Stewart. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Robert. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday July 10, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Patrick Catholic Church 1100 Erie Street, Fr. Antony Thomas officiating. The family will greet guests in church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. The Chacon family would like to thank Dr. Satler and his staff at Froedtert Hospital, and Dr. Knight and his staff at St. Catherine’s Hospital for Dan’s chemo and radiation treatments, and to Hospice Alliance. You all took part so well in treating Dan with dignity and compassion during his treatments and in his final days. God bless you.;
