Clarence H. “Sonny” Andersen, 69, passed away Friday May 16, 2014, in his home. He was born Feb. 19,1945, in Racine WI, the son of Clarence H. and Jeanette M. (nee: Schockley) Andersen. Clarence was a hydrolic fittings manager for HFI, and served in the Army during the Vietnam war. He enjoyed watching the Packers, his 3 cats, gambling, playing Wahoo and having a drink with his friends Clarence will be deeply missed by his good friend Sue Klass ,and his loving children Amy (David) DeHeart and Karen Andersen, 4 grandchildren, 2 brothers Ted (Pattie) Andersen, Richard (Angeline) Andersen and 2 sisters Debra (Randy) Folk, Patricia Lynn Andersen, and his Aunt Judy (Byron) Berheyen. He is survived by other nieces, nephews relatives and friends. He will also be missed by a very special friend Norma Jean Kirschbaum. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 21 at 11 a.m. in Strouf Funeral Home, Reverend Mr. Robert Starr, Deacon of St. Mary by the Lake Parish officiating. Burial will follow in Southern Wisconsin Memorial Veterans Cemetery in the Town of Dover. The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
