Maria Louise Moreno, 99, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026. Maria was born in Wichita, Kansas on September 8, 1926, the daughter of Geraldo and Maria Rodriguez. On December 8, 1948 she married Pablo R. Moreno in Racine. Maria loved to sing, and sang for the Dorsey Band, recorded a record called “Careless”. She also loved attending baseball games. Maria will be deeply missed by her daughter Linda, grandchildren Koi (Melissa) Lathrop, Marcus (Tauwna) Moreno and Michelle Morano, along with several great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her brother Peter Rodriguez abd brother-in-law Juan Moreno along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and grandchildren Paul and Marie. Services and entombment for Maria were held at Holy Cross Cemetery on Highway 32 with Rev. Tim Samotsjski officiating.
