Margaret Isabelle Simpson, 93, of Racine, received her eternal rest in Jesus, Monday December 12, 2016 in her daughter’s home as she was cared for by Aurora Hospice. Isabelle was born in Milwaukee, WI. December 20, 1922, the daughter of Clarence G. and Norma F. (Nee: Smith) Brunner. She married John (Jack) Simpson on February 26, 1944 in Bay View WI. John passed away January 2003.  Isabelle enjoyed sewing and doing crafts. She was the treasurer of Lincoln Villas North up till the time of her passing and did a lot of volunteer work for the people at LVN. Isabelle was Jack’s secretary for many years and following his retirement became a CNA at the age of 60 and left this calling at the age of 75. A go getter, she then took a job as a cashier for Winn-Dixie until the age of 80. She will be deeply missed by her family, especially her 3 children Barbara Simpson, Robert (Jan) Simpson and Mark (Mary) Simpson, along with 7 grandchildren Jeff, Jennifer, Katie, Becky, Jacob, Luke and Zach and 4 great-grandchildren Dominica, Melanni, Collins and Kendrick. She will also be missed by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Isabelle was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, 1 daughter, Jackie, and 2 brothers, Clarence and Donald.  A Home Going Celebration will be held on Isabelle’s 94th birthday, Tuesday December 20, 2016 at 10:45 am. in Strouf Funeral Home. Pastor John Bodnar and Minister Charles Joyce officiating.  The family will receive guests on Tuesday in the funeral home from 10 am until the time of the service.
