Winnie Ruth Morris, 89, of Racine, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Ascension All Saints Hospital. She was born on July 14, 1931 in New Albany, Mississippi, the daughter of Charlie and Fannie Lou (NEE: Cobb) Morris. Winnie retired from St. Luke’s Medical Center in the dietary department. Winnie loved flowers and shopping at thrift stores. She had a heart of gold and was so selfless. She cared about helping people and made sure that everyone knew they were always welcome in her home. Winnie will be deeply missed by her sons Jimmy Lee Morris, Billy W. Morris, Charles N. (Bonnita) Morris, and Dearrl Anthony Morris. She will also be dearly missed by grandchildren Kendrick, Amanda, Taylor, Tomeko, Nicki, Tiffany, Ruby, Denise, Wayne, Ayzha, Cara, Alexandra, and Marvell, and godchildren Quadadra and Alex. She is survived by her sisters Jewelene and Doris and brother Rolan, as well as a host of great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Winnie is preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Fannie Lou, brothers Charlie Jr., and Joe Louis, sisters Margaret and Magnolia, and special friends O’Dell Flowers, Marshall Walker, and Earnest Ratlliff. Funeral Services for Winnie will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Strouf Funeral Home. The family will receive guests on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service.  Minister Johnny Ford is officiating. Masks required per entry.
