Virginia Martinez, 64, of Racine, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Ascension All Saints Hospital. She was born on January 3, 1956 in New York. Born the daughter of Juan and Virgenmina (NEE: Torres) Martinez. Virginia enjoyed listening to music, watching telenovelas, going for walks, eating junk food (especially twinkies), and most of all spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by her children Carlos Delvalle and Virginia Rivera. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Jessica Rivera, Virginia Delvalle, Anthonio Delvalle, Carlos Delvalle Jr., Anthony Martin, Vanessa Martin, and Jhazmyne Delvalle-Montalvo, and five great-grandchildren and one on the way. She will be missed by her sisters Judith Munoz and Elizabeth Martinez, and long time significant other Fortino Ramirez. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents Juan and Virgenmina, daughter Erica Rivera, son Angel Rivera, brothers Edwin Martinez and Carlos Martinez, and sister Graciela Martinez. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Strouf Funeral Home at 1 p.m. The family will receive guests on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 12 p.m. until the time of service.
