Born to Eternal Life February 1, 2014 at the age of 93. He is survived by his loving children Gary (Nancy) Klugiewicz, Gail (Harry) Shayhorn, Mary (Ronnie) Wiza, Mark (Sandy) Klugiewicz, Janet Klugiewicz, Jody (James Carl’) Jones, Leah Ann (Ralph) Menzel, John (Cindy) Klugiewicz, Kim (Scott) Jump and Steve (Traci) Klugiewicz. His loving grandchildren Katie (Jason), Paul, Jeff, Harry III, Joyce, Cristy, Chad, Corie (Dan), Breanna, Marci, Thomas (Janelle) John-John, Croix, Kayla, Kyle, Carly, Sarah, Nicholas, Ryan and Allison. Dear great-grandchildren Maycie, Korbin, Brandon, Brett, Aaron, Patrick and Zachary. Thomas is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Dorothy Mae (nee: Brittnacher) Klugiewicz, 2 brothers, John and Leon and 3 sisters, Frances, Florence and Mary Ann. Thomas was born December 15 1920 in Withee WI. the son of Anton John and Mary (nee:Wargulewicz) Klugiewicz. He graduated Stanley-Boyd High School in Stanley WI. He attended UW Superior but was drafted before he could complete his teaching degree. Thomas proudly served his country during WW II where he served in the South Pacific with the 88th Signal Battalion Special. He really loved going to the WW II Army Reunions. Thomas worked at the Milwaukee Furnace Company and has been a member of the Milwaukee Sheet Metal Workers Local #18 for 60 years.He enjoyed dart ball, crossword puzzles and doing home improvements in his, and his children’s homes. Thomas’ greatest love was that of being a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday February 6, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Prince of Peace (St. Matthew’s) Catholic Church 1138 S. 25th Street. The family will receive guests Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass in the church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
