Thomas Charles Helgerson, 66 of Racine, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Monday, February 19, 2018. Thomas was born on January 7, 1952 in Eau Claire, WI, the son of LaMont and Rosemary (NEE: Edmundson) Helgerson. He was married at St. John’s in Milwaukee to Mary Rogan on September 26, 1980. Thomas was a Sales representative for Palmen Auto in Kenosha. He loved detailing cars. building model cars, watching his favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family and his grand-dogs. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Mary, 2 children, Ryan (Jennifer) Helgerson, Missy (David) Gonzales, Jr., 5 grandchildren, Autumn, Ashley, Brayden, Amber and Brantley. He will also be missed by 1 brother, Richard Helgerson and 1 sister, Judy Helgerson, 2 grand dogs, Gizmo and Kirby as well as other nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. He was preceeded in death by his parents, 1 brother James Helgerson and 1 sister Debra Helgerson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the funeral home at 12 p.m. The family will receive guests on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial is private for the family.

Tom was one of the nicest guys I ever met. We bought and leased several cars from him. He always asked about my husband and children. He was a true gentleman. I bought my dream car from him. I’ll think fondly of him whenever I drive it.
