Suzanne Starr (Meinert) Lamb, 75, born and raised in Racine, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Froedtert and Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Born the daughter of the late Elmer and Audrey Meinert. She attended William Horlick High School. On October 17, 1964, she was united in marriage to Gerald “Bud” Lamb, who preceded her in death on November 27, 1998. They owned Lamb Graphix in Racine. She later worked at The Bay at Nu-Roc Health and Rehabilitation as an activity aid. In Green Bay, she worked at the adult day care center ‘til she was transferred to the Alzheimer’s unit as an activity aid. She retired in 2006 after working for Aging and Diversity Resource Center of Brown County for meals on wheels homebound. Suzanne also taught 5th and 6th grades of sunday school and vacation bible school at Redeemer Lutheran Church for some years. Surviving are her children Gerald Lamb Jr., Stacy Lamb, and Ryan Lamb; grandchildren Nicholas Lamb, Mackenzie Lamb, Cassidy Lamb, and Grant Lamb; great-grandchildren Carter Lamb and Lillyan Vargas; brother Richard Meinert; sisters Patricia Durik, Linda Baer, Nancy Halbur, and Diane (Dean) Turner. Suzanne is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Suzanne is predeceased by her brothers Dave Meinert and Pete Meinert; sister Debra Cairns; and three children Gregory Lamb, Kevin Lamb, and a miscarriage. Funeral Services for Suzanne will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Strouf Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. The family will receive guests on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment to follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
