Stephanie Rodriguez, 53, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024 at Ascension Hospital in Franklin. Stephanie was born December 9, 1970 in Racine, the daughter of James and Carol (Nee: Doran) Kapellusch. On June 3, 2017 she married Jose Rodriguez in Racine. Jose passed away on September 29, 2019. Stephanie worked for Amazon and Kwik Trip. In her free time she loved reading and working crossword puzzles. She was also a big cat lover, but most of all she loved her family, her children and her grandchild and the time she could spend with them. Stephanie will be greatly missed by her children Dustin, Nicholas and Cassandra, her grandchild Carliah and her siblings James II, Randel Lee, Kevin and Melanie along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She will also be missed by Timothy Toutant, her 1st husband. Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Richard and Jose and her maternal grandparents. Funeral services are private for the family.

Steph was the closest thing I ever had to a little sister. I used to call her “C.C.” because she was my carbon copy, she looked so much like me! I’ll never forget any of the time I spent with her and Melanie. Steph had this beaming smile that either; went all the way to her eyes, or came right out of her eyes, I could never figure out which one it was. And that laugh…oh, my. Yep, I’ll miss for the rest of my days, that dear cousin. To Stephanie’s family, I’m sorry for your loss.
Many fond memories over the years. Her laugh…she was a genuine friend. She will be missed. Rest in paradise dear friend.
