Stanton C. Wright

Stanton C. Wright 92 passed away in the comfort of his home with his family at his side, as he made his final journey, this time to Heaven. He was born March 18, 1921 in Milwaukee the son of Frederick and Sylvia (nee Franks) Wright. He passed away on Thursday May 21, 2013. Stan never married but kept a close relationship with his extended family of many nieces and nephews. Most of his working years he was employed in the auto manufacturing industry mostly with General Motors in the Detroit area. In his later years he returned to the Milwaukee area to be closer to family. He enjoyed day trips around Wisconsin and spending time telling great stories to his nieces and nephews. Survivors include a sister Anna Schmidt and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers. Private family funeral services were held on Monday May 27, 2013 in Strouf Funeral Home. Family interment services were held Tuesday May 28, 2013 in the family plot in Milwaukee.;
