Severa Garcia, 54, passed away Feb 2, 2016 at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Hospital in Racine. She was born July 1st 1961 in Zacatecas Mexico, the daughter of Guadalupe and Herlinda (nee: Vanegas) Cuellar. Severa worked at Maple Leaf Duck Farm. She enjoyed cooking tamales, spending time with her grandchildren, and loved listening to music. Severa loved watching her favorite television shows, The Haunting, The Haunted House, and the Animal Channel. She enjoyed flowers in and on everything and also spending time with her beloved family. She will be deeply missed by her husband Pedro, her children Maribel (Joseph), Diana, Juan (Kimberly), Carolina, and Maritza Garcia. Three brothers, five sisters and six grandchildren Marco, Antonio, Benjamin, Grayson, Cameron, and Cole. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Severa is preceded in death by her parents, one brother Jesus Cuellar and one daughter. Services will be held Wednesday February 10th 2016 at 1p.m. in Strouf Funeral Home. The family will receive guest from 11am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery on Hwy 32.
