Ruth E. Hazlett

RACINE Ruth E. Hazlett, 79, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012, in her home. Ruth was born December 7, 1932, in Racine WI. the daughter of Einer L. Rasmussen and Ruth G. (nee: Link) Rasmussen. She was married to Keith H. Hazlett for many years. He passed away in 1991. Ruth was a homemaker throughout her life. She loved spending time with her 4 daughters, and her many grandchildren She will be deeply missed. Survivors include her 4 daughters Joy Adrian, Cindy (Tony) Tissicino, Janine (Fernando) Amaya and Debbie (Marvin Wilson Jr.) Medina, all of Racine. Grandchildren Tracy Ann (Sherman) Gossmeyer, Cyndi (Randy) Armstrong, Joshua Tissicino, Krista (Jason) Pope, Selena, and Alaina Amaya, Nicholas and Mariah Medina. 7 Great-Grandchildren, Alyssa, Taylor, Lilli, Brooklynn, Brennan, Eleiana and Gavin, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild Emma Scotch. 2 Sisters Colleen Schumacher, Donah Nelson, and 2 Brothers Dean Rasmussen, Windsor (Joyce) Rasmussen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, especially her canine pal, “ROCKY.” She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sons, Verne Lee, Randall, and Gene “Willie” and 2 sisters Charmaine Gazmay and Columbine Ford. A Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving will be Wednesday, May 16, 2012, 11:30 a.m.in Strouf Funeral Home, Pastor Phineas Marr officiating. There will be no visitation. ;
