Rosa Morales Garibay, 84, of Racine, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. 

She was born on June 8, 1936 in Cotulla, Texas, born to Rosalio and Luisa (nee: Sanchez) Morales. 

Rosa retired from Great Northern Corporation after 25 years as a stitcher machine operator. There she broke many records and was recognized for superior work performance. 

Rosa was a die hard Green Bay Packer fan. She enjoyed scratching-off bingo lottery tickets. She truly enjoyed cooking for her family. One of her greatest passions was her flower garden, which to many was the pride of the neighborhood. 

She was very creative and made sure that her house was decorated for every season and holiday. 

More than anything in the world she cherished her family and the time spent together. 

Rosa’s favorite quote while placing her hands on heart “mis hijos e nietos son mi vida”.

Survived by her children Luis (Eloisa) Ramos, Rosa (Johnny) Espinoza, and Anna (Marcos) Verdiguel, as well as grandchildren Soleda, Fransica, Luisa, Heriberto (Janet), Maribel, Blanca (Miles), Dominque (Vanessa), Angelique (Edwin), Homero, Xavier, and Andres. Also her 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and one on the way. 

Her siblings Natividad, Jesse (Sophia) Morales, Jane Serra, Maria Morales, and Fransica Morales.  

She will be deeply missed by her friend Laura Garza, and special pet Drago, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents Rosalio and Luisa, four brothers Rosalio Jr., Felipe, Matias, and Joe Morales.

 Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Strouf Funeral Home at 1 p.m. The family will receive guests on Monday, November 16, 2020 at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery (5600 Holy Cross Road).
